'tis the season for what exactly?
The season for slowing down and reflection.
Yet feeling like we are moving hundred miles an hour?
What we find ourselves focusing on for a few days,
A couple weeks maybe a month the good good Father
had planned for years prior to the earth being in existence.
This season I want to reflect on the process of what was planned for centuries prior
that I often take advantage of simply celebrating for a short time.
For Mary, the process took months. Months of planning and preparing for a child
during a time she thought she would be planning a wedding.
Father, help me stay focused on the importance of celebrating YOU.
Celebrating You each day of every month all year long.
Help me stay focused on the goal and not get wrapped up in the process.
As Mary didn't need to see the entire staircase to take the first step!
